THE ONE AND ONLY ORIGINAL 1983 YEARMIX REBUILD, REVISED & EXTENDED

 

This mega mix is ​​based on the original Grandmix that started an annual highlight for mix- and music lovers in the Netherlands for decades. Master mixer Ben Liebrand was the inventor of this type of long mix. Remember: this was the time when reel-to-reel recorders were used for the loops and editing in combination with two turntables for the actual mix. Only a technically skilled DJ could make such a masterpiece. Ben Liebrand pulled it off and called this jewel 'Grandmix'.

 

Many DJs stated that this mix greatly influenced their musical taste and career. A true benchmark for all upcoming monster mixes! Ben still makes this kind of mixes to this day.
